WILLIAM “BILL” HENRY of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1st, 2014 in Wilkes Barre, PA. He was 84 years of age. Born in Camden, NJ he has resided in Mt. Laurel since 1995, moving there from Medford, NJ. Growing up in the Lake Pine section of Medford, he is a graduate of Merchantville H.S. He moved the family business of William W. Henry & Son Plumbing and Heating Contractors to Medford in 1956. He served as the Plumbing Inspector for the Twp. of Medford for 15 yrs. and was an active member and three time chief for the Taunton Fire Company and a Medford Councilman. He was a long time member and past president of the Medford-Vincentown Rotary Club and also the Republican Club of Medford, the Lake Pine Colony Club, the Medford Business Association, the Greater Medford Group, a Life member of the Medford V.F.W. Post 7677, the Odd Fellows Lodge #100 and a former trustee for the YMCA Camps. He was a licensed Master Plumber and belonged to many Associations. He was veteran of the US Navy during the Korean War. He is the Beloved husband of 62 years of Blanche M. (nee McMichael) Henry of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Loving Father of Ted of Delran, NJ. He is also survived by his grandchildren Heather Henry and BJ Henry both of Shamong, NJ. He is the father of the late Mark and James Henry. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday from 9:00 – 12:00 Noon at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Medford, NJ.
