Yvonne Louise (Went) Kayes

YVONNE L. KAYES (nee Went) of Salisbury, NC, and formerly of Roselle, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017, at the age of 76.  Born in Ipswich, England, she was the daughter of the late William and Louise Went.  After retirement, Yvonne and her beloved William moved to Salisbury where they enjoyed traveling, bowling and being active members of the Sacred Heart Parish in Salisbury, NC.  Yvonne enjoyed keeping up with her friends very much so that when she became aquainted with Facebook, she joined the “Ladies of Ipswich Page” to keep in touch with her childhood friends in England.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.  Yvonne is the Loving Mother of Stephen Kayes of Monroe, NJ, Michael Kayes (Trish) of Medford, NJ, and Alison Moore (Aaron) of Salisbury, NC.  She is the Beloved Grandmother of Bridget, Brian, Ainsley and Anderson, as well as the Loving Sister of Brian Went and Doreen Driver.  Yvonne was the Beloved Wife of the late William A. Kayes.  Relatives and Friends are invited to her Memorial Mass on Friday January 6th at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Lakes Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford, NJ.  Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Rd., Suite 100, Bala Cynwood, PA, 19007.   (www.BradleyStow.com)
