We worked together at Pemberton High School and reconnected when we were Co-Op coordinators for our respective schools later in our careers. She was a pleasure to talk to and very professional. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

I had the pleasure of having Ms. Hoffman as a teacher my junior year of high school back in 07 and we instantly became close. She was not only a great teacher but a great mentor and became a great friend. I loved walking up the stairs to the 2nd floor knowing she would be standing outside her classroom door with her heart warming smile. My senior year I even got rid of my lunch period to just go up to her room and talk to her and help out with anything that she needed. During my freshman year at college I made sure I got her a mug from my university so she could always think of me. She will be greatly miss but I know she is with the angels in the sky because she was an angel here on earth. To the family I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this tough time.

I worked at PTHS for 20 years. Chris was a great teacher, very dedicated and well liked and respected. Prayers to her family, her PTHS family, her friends and to the numerous students whose lives were touched by this wonderful woman. RIP.

My condolences to the family. I had Chris as a teacher and then I worked at the high school for many years when she was there. She was always kind and pleasant. .she will surly be missed.

For 25 years, my office was down the hall from Chris's classroom. She would come to my office to get hot water for her tea and we would have some good conversations. We became good friends and and she will be deeply missed. So sorry I will not make her services, because I am going back home to Florida that same day. RIP Chris.
