THOMAS EDWARD EGAN of Southampton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21st, 2017. He was 92 years of age. Born in New York, NY, he is formerly of Greenlawn, NY, and was the son of the late Eugene J. & Ida (nee Loersch) Egan Jr. and the husband of the late Gloria E. (nee Rudolph) Egan. An Industrial Engineer, he retired in 1989 from Grumman Aerospace in Long Island, NY and also worked for Fairchild Controls. He was a Veteran of the US Army serving in WWII and received two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. He is the Beloved Father of Robert T. Egan of Medford, NJ, Dean T. Egan of Shamong, NJ and Gary T. Egan of Lumberton, NJ. He is also survived by his daughters-in-law, Lisa Diorio Egan of Medford, NJ and Patricia Waldron Egan of Shamong, NJ; his brothers Richard Egan of Suwanee, GA and Donald J. Egan of East Meadows, NY; his grandchildren, Timothy T. Egan of Haddon Twp., NJ, Mary C. Egan of Richmond, VA, Jack T. Egan, Connor P. Egan, Thomas E. Egan II and Molly E. Egan all of Shamong, NJ; and his great granddaughter, Riley G. Egan and great grandson, Thomas M. Egan, both of Haddon Twp., NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Service will be held on Saturday at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be private in the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family requests memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 220 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017 or DAV (Disabled American Veterans) Charitable Service Trust, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
