JAMES F. SHEFFER of Medford, NJ, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 15th, 2017, at the age of 74. Born in Phila., PA, he is the son of the late Frederick & Marie Sheffer and the brother of the late Frances Caroselli. James is a retired Program Director for the Mental Health Services Program within the Philadelphia Prison System. He retired in 2015 from M.H.M. Services and was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Church in Medford, NJ. He has resided in Medford for over 50 years and was a man who was truly family oriented supporting his son and grandchildren in many local activities. He is the Beloved Husband of 54 yrs. of Antoinette P. (nee Long) of Medford, NJ and the Loving Father of James T. Sheffer and his wife Terri of Medford Lakes, NJ. He is also survived by his sisters Patricia Lawson and Geraldine Borman both of Phila., PA, his brother-in-law William Caroselli of Davenport, FL and his Grandchildren Victoria and Jamie Sheffer both of Medford Lakes, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Sunday, April 30th, 2017 from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford, NJ, where a Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
