Albert "Al" Harold Kemp, of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ, died at home with his wife by his side on April 20, 2016. He was 91.  A resident of Southampton for the past 10 years, he moved there from Marlton & Medford, NJ.  He is the son of the late Sydney & Ida Kemp.  Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Albert Kemp grew up in Bordentown and Chesterfield NJ where his family and friends nicknamed him "Buddy". As a young man he worked with his father on the family chicken farm. Although he had a farm deferral, he signed up to serve his country during WW2. Al served in the occupying forces in Japan at the end of the war. When he returned home he met and married Marie Timby. They were married for over 65 years and raised three children. Al was truly from the "Greatest Generation", he was proud of his service to his country and devoted to his family. He loved cowboy movies, jelly beans and telling corny jokes. Some of his happiest hours were spent with his family sailing and fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and serving his community as a Boy Scout Leader. Al will be remembered as the kindest and most gentle man in every way. His family will miss his infectious laugh and his smile. Al is the Beloved Husband of Marie T. (nee Timby) of Leisuretowne and the Loving Father of Albert of Camden, NJ, Steven F. and his wife Adrienne of Tewksbury, NJ and Harriet M. Grant and her husband Peter of Glendale, CA.  He is also survived by his Grandson Kevin M. Kemp.  Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in the BG Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial donations to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.  (www.BradleyStow.com )
