Ann Marie (Slagis) Malatin

ANN MALATIN (nee Slagis) of Medford Lakes, NJ, passed away on Thursday, September 24th, 2015.  She was 77 yrs. of age.  Born in Scranton, PA, she is the daughter of the late Edward V. & Amelia J. Slagis and the wife of the late Robert Malatin.  Ann has resided in Medford Lakes since 1965 and was a Teacher serving in the Lumberton School District until her retirement in 2001.  She had also taught in the Camden School District and was a graduate of Marywood College in Scranton, PA.  Her love for painting was visible to all and she was associated with the Medford Art Center and a student at the Fleisher Art School.  She was also a member of the Questers and the Medford Historical Society.  She is the Beloved Mother of Jody Malatin and Jeff Malatin and the loving Grandmother of Storm Malatin.  She is also survived by her two sisters Jeanne Crowley and Carol Slagis.  Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, Oct. 3rd from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt.
